1. Verbs tenses

 Present simple (tegenwoordige tijd)
Iets is een gewoonte / feit / gebeurt (niet) regelmatig. Bij regelmatigheid komen de woorden
usually, often, always, never, sometimes etc. voor in de zin.
 voorbeeld zin: I always go to school by bike.

 Present continuous (onvoltooid tegenwoordige tijd)
Iets gebeurt op dit moment, vindt plaats in de nabije toekomst of je ergert je aan iets dat vaak
gebeurt (always).
 voorbeeld zin: I am reading a book. Of: He’s always doing his homework.

 Present perfect (voltooid tegenwoordige tijd)
Zegt iets over het verleden én tegelijkertijd ook over het heden. Er zijn twee werkwoorden voor
nodig in de zin (have of has + voltooid deelwoord).
