1. Frequency - ANSWER- repeatability or countability
-Counting the total number of occurrences of behavior across a specific amount of time
-The behavior needs a clear beginning and end (repeatability)
-Rate = count/time
-Why is rate important?
Ex: throwing a basketball, raising your hand, throwing an object

2. Duration - ANSWER- temporal extent
-Record the length of time from when a behavior begins to when it ends
-Ex: time spent completing homework, episode of tantrum behavior (know the "offset")

3. Latency - ANSWER- when behavior occurs (temporal locus)
-The time between an opportunity for a response, and when the response actually
occurs
The time between the stimulus (SD) and the response
-Ex: The time between when a parking ticket is issued to when the ticket is paid, the
time from when an instruction is given to when the child complies with the instruction

4. Inter-Response Time (IRT) - ANSWER-The time between two responses
-Start your timer at the end of one occurrence of behavior to the beginning of the next
occurrence of behavior
-Ex: The time in between bites of food, the time in between occurrences of attention
seeking behavior
