Using a modeling language for a better integration of human safety at the early design phase based on experience feedback analysis
One of the interesting research field is to integarte human safety in the design process. Several publications like Coulibaly et al. (2008), Fadier, (2007), Fadier et al. (2003), (2006), Hasan et al. (2003) have appeared dealing with the approaches, concepts, methods and tools applied to the design for the purpose of integrating safety. Ghemraoui et al. (2009, 2010) proposed Innovative Risk assessment Design (IRAD) method for human-safety integration at the early design process. The objective of this paper is to facilitate communication between design process and risk process in IRAD method and to simplify its application. To reach this objective, it is necessary to provide a common specification language to integrate human-safety in design process. Pétin et al.(2010) used OMG Systems Modeling Language (OMG SysML™) for safety requirements verification. SysML is a new modeling language for specifying, analyzing and verifying complex system. This paper shows how this language can be used to combine human safety with design process based on experience feedback analysis.
