1.When deciding the priority patient...
- identify whether the issues is indeed an ethical dilemma
- gather as much relevant info as possible
- reflect on own values as they relate
- state the dilemma, including surrounding issues and the involved individual
- list/analyze all options for solving dilemma
- select the option in concert with the ethical principle that applies to the situation,
the decision makers values, and the professions values for clients.

2.- Assault: The conduct of one person makes another person fearful and
apprehensive.
- Battery: Intentional and wrongful physical contact with a person that involves injury
or offensive contact.
- False Imprisonment: A person is confined or restrained against his will.: Le- gal

3.- use risk assessment tools to evaluate clients and their environment for safety
- encourage clients to speak up and take active role
- create culture of checks/balances to avoid errors

tection, neg. pressure airflow, full face protection.
Droplet - >5 mcg and travel 3-6 ft. Require a private room, masks for providers and
visitors.
Contact - protect providers and visitors if they are going to come within 3 feet of the
client. Requires private room, gloves/gown, disposal of infectious material in single
nonporous bag.

- Immunizations: flu, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis
