The Advantages and Disadvantages of Tele-Medicine
Access to quality and cost-friendly healthcare services remains a major challenge in developed and under-developed regions. Even after implementing the 2010 Affordable Care Act, the majority of rural American citizens cannot afford both access to healthcare services and information. However, telemedicine, a recent trend in the provision of healthcare services, is gradually alleviating the inability to access quality healthcare services and information. Just like the way modern ICT's are being used to revolutionize the world of communication, they can also revolutionize and solve global health problems.
