Intersectional Lens of Analysis
According to Merriam Webster dictionary, intersectionality is the concurrent encounter of hierarchical classifications of race, social class, ethnicity, sexuality and other discriminatory lines. It explores the fact that there exists some form of mutual dependency in things which seem to be desperate forms of oppression. This may mean that issues such as xenophobia, sexism and racism may happen simultaneously making them a unified system of oppression. This essay examines the concept of racism through the intersectional lens of analysis.
