Notes on Ch. 7 of "Basic Verbal Skills for Music Therapists"
These notes are based on Chapter 7 of Schwartz' "Basic Verbal Skills for Music Therapists", a text that is required for all music therapy majors to read in their senior year of undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University. Chapter 7 focuses on the four basic constructs: connection between words, spoken language, and cognition; listening in verbal exchange; place of words and language in social and cultural identity; and, complexity in determining communicative intent. I am selling these notes for $2.50. All proceeds will support me as I begin my internship after completing undergraduate courework, and in taking the CBMT exam.
