Membraanpotentiaal (MP)
• = Spanningsverschil over celmembraan
• = Elektrisch spanning over membraan
▫ Hoe ontstaat potentiaal: concentratieverschil van positieve en negatieve ionen aan
weerszijden v/d membraan
• = potentiaalverschil door ongelijke verdeling v + en – ionen aan weerszijden v/e
celmembraan

Rustpotentiaal (RP)
• Neuron in rust
• MP bij een cel in rust
• - 70 milivolt (mV)
▫ Min? --> cytoplasmaopp v/d cel heeft overmaat aan – geladen ionen

Sensorpotentiaal (SP)
• Spanningsverandering na prikkeling v/d sensorcel
• Neuron geprikkeld? --> potentiaal veranderd

Actiepotentiaal (AP)
• Specifiek veranderingspatroon bij een geactiveerde (= geprikkelde) cel



*SP en AP enkel bij prikkelbare cellen (zenuw-, spier-, klier- en zintuigcellen)

• Celmembraan bestaat uit: dubbele laag fosfolipiden
• Intracellulair (binnenkant):
▫ Cytosol
→ + eiwitten (negatief geladen)
→ + veel Kalium (K+)
• Extracellulair (buitenkant):
▫ Veel Natrium (Na+)
▫ Chloor (Cl-)
• Doel:
▫ Elektrische lading = ongelijk
▫ Concentratieverschil = handhaven
→ Hoe: selectieve doorlaatbaarheid v/h celmembraan
→ Kanalen

1 leak channel
• Altijd open
• Passief
• K uit cel & Na in cel
• Kaliumionen diffunderen sneller uit cel dan Natriumionen in cel
▫ Diffunderen: zich vermengen

Neuron wil concentratieverschil in stand houden (= binnen veel K & buiten veel N)
