I started to freak out when a "not indicated" would pop up, but I just took a breath and stopped clicking. It actually helped to "steady" myself before moving on. There were a few questions where I only selected one option, but it was tempting to think there "had to be another correct one." Just stick with what you know. Think like the examiner - correct answers.Think like the examiner - A huge part of preparing for the NCMHCE is learn to think like the folks writing the exam questions. You may have learn to do things a certain way on the job, but they may not be the "correct" way according to the textbooks and the "experts": In the world of NCMHCE, everything is just perfect. There is no need to negotiate with insurance companies, clients always have one clear diagnosis, and counselors are respected by the clients and the families.
