It providesthe necessary financial information as it relates to all aspects of the Army's GeneralFund. It also helps the Army train, sustain, and equip Soldiers by providing timelyrelevant financial information. Overall, GFEBS has minimized the complexity and inefficiencies of the legacy financialinformation environment by replacing 80% of the overlapping and redundant systems.
