Within this report I will be analysing and investigating the roles and
skills required to be an effective event planner and investigate own
skills in the form of a skill audit. The roles of an event organiser
include the different tasks needed to be completed by an event
organiser, different skills needed by an event organiser and the
common formats for skills audit collection. I will also be assessing
they key elements that make a successful event organiser.

As part of my research for options regarding my future, I have made
the decision to investigate and explore the role of an event organiser
and the suitability for this role. My research will include:

 The tasks and procedures required to be completed in the
organising and the setting up an event.

 Format for skills audit collection including an audit for own
skills.

 An investigation of the current legal requirements for events
organisation.

individual report which will explain the roles and skills required to be
an effective event’s organiser.
