sociology imagination
The term "sociological imagination" was coined by the American sociologist C. Wright Mills in his 1959 book titled "The Sociological Imagination." It refers to the ability to connect personal experiences and individual life situations to larger social forces and structures in society. In other words, it's a way of thinking that helps individuals understand how their personal lives are shaped by broader societal influences and historical contexts.
