 Who decides the gender to people?
 Is self-identification acceptable?
 Only 2 genders?

 Should transwomen be permitted to use women only spaces?

 Law provides legal protection for trans ppl
 Don’t need to disclose former gender identity
 Trans ppl apply for Gender Recognition Certificate
(GRC)
 New birth certificate

Reassignment Surgery (GRS)

 Don’t need to have GRS or have had
 Live in acquired gender for 2 yrs

 Application done online
