D129 Task 2 WGU Essay Advanced Professional Roles and Values My professional mission statement is to be a professional nurse who uses the skills and knowledge to provide safe and competent care to patients, to improve overall community health. My career goals and aspiration are to be a successful Registered Nurse. I am currently taking the nursing degree course to equip me with the knowledge required to be a successful nurse. I aspire to take care of patients in my community and help them in the improvement of their health. I will continue to further my studies in the nursing field to ensure that I am competent in the different aspects of an RN. My major focus while attaining my set mission is on the development of active role and responsibility in taking care of patients. In cases where I take care of family members who are hurt, I feel satisfied with my work.
