Week 9 Reading Reflection The birth of the South-South Cooperation (SSC) focuses on world economics and politics, leading to a fresh interest in transforming the world order. Numerous debates have risen concerning the resurgence, especially between the optimistic people concerning the southern economic development and the liberation project from the North, and the critics and pessimists. The South-South cooperation shows the deep unity among the global south nations. This essay analyzes the extent to which the third Worldism has gone in modifying, restructuring and challenging the North-South divide and the new reforms in SSC that have challenged neoliberalism.
