Family theory Introduction A.R is a sixty-nine-year-old Asian male father of four children born on august 6, 1951. He comes from a middle class in the Philippines raised by his parents. His dad died at the age of 84 years due to a heart attack who had inherited the disease from his father, while his mother died of old age at the age of 94. His primary language is Tagalog, but he learned English later as his second language. He is retired and currently resides in the United States with his third son, who is also in the middle class. He takes care of his grandchildren to get allowances from doing that. He studied his undergraduate accountancy and finished. A.R is a catholic who believes in shared family decision making; he encourages open communication among his family. He generally tries to solve problems before they morph into more significant issues. A.R has two children, L.R a 45-year-old male father to G.R who works at a food chain, married to R.R and L.R a divorcee who raises three kids, I.C, G.C, and K.C on her own. L.R works as a call agent at an electronics shop.
