Maatskaplike / Sosiale verantwoordelikheid
 'n Etiese sieningspunt wat sê dat elke individu / organisasie verplig is om die samelewing as
geheel te bevoordeel.
 Die verantwoordelikheid van elke burger individu / organisasie om by te dra tot die welsyn
van die gemeenskap en die omgewing waarin hulle woon.
 Dit is 'n verpligting om te werk om die welstand van die samelewing te verbeter.
 'n Etiese standpunt wat sê dat elke individu / organisasie 'n verpligting het om die
samelewing as geheel te bevoordeel.
 Die verantwoordelikheid van elke burgerindividu / -organisasie om by te dra tot die welstand
van die gemeenskap en die omgewing waarin hulle woon. Hierdie verantwoordelikheid kan
die vorm aanneem van:
o Vermy alle aksies wat die omgewing en die samelewing kan benadeel.
o Tree op op maniere wat die lewensgehalte van ander mense verbeter
 Dit is die plig van alle ondernemings om 'n balans tussen die ekonomie en die omgewing te
handhaaf.


Definisie van drievoudige basislyn
 n Drievoudige lyn beteken dat ondernemings op wins / ekonomiese / mense / sosiale en
planeet / omgewing moet konsentreer.
 Die drievoudige lyn is 'n rekeningkundige raamwerk wat bestaan uit bogenoemde drie
elemente.
 Baie ondernemings het hierdie raamwerk aangeneem om hul prestasies te evalueer om
groter besigheidswaarde te skep.
 Dit is 'n manier om ondernemingsprestasie te meet deur die sosiale, omgewings- en
ekonomiese suksesse daarvan te evalueer.


Verhouding tussen drievoudige basislyn en maatskaplike
verantwoordelikheid
Profyt/ Wins/ Ekonomies
 Drie- hoekbasislyn beteken dat besighede nie net op wins / lading hoë pryse moet fokus nie,
maar ook in CSI-projekte moet belê.
 Besighede moet nie 'n wins maak ten koste van sy gemeenskap nie.


Persone / Mense / Maatskappy
 Besigheidsbedrywighede moet nie 'n negatiewe uitwerking op mense / werknemers / kliënte
/ gemeenskap hê nie.
 Besighede behoort betrokke te raak / te belê in volhoubare gemeenskapsprogramme / -
projekte wat die gemeenskappe sal bevoordeel / verhoog.
 Verbeter die lewenstyl / lewenskwaliteit van hul menslike hulpbronne / werknemers.
