philosophers, which statement is NOT true?



2 Plato reasoned that mathematics is
based on experimentation and
abstraction.


EXPLANATION:
Plato's views on mathematics were quite different from this
statement. Plato believed that mathematical knowledge was not
derived from experimentation but rather from innate, a priori
knowledge that was remembered from a previous existence. He
thought that mathematical concepts, like geometric shapes, existed
in a non-physical realm of reality and that humans merely
recollected these truths through philosophical reasoning, not
experimentation.
