LATERAAL
• anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL)
• calcaneofibular ligament (CFL)
• posterior talofibular ligament (PTFL)

• limit ankle inversion and prevent anterior and lateral subluxation of the talus

MEDIAAL
• deltoid ligament (group of four ligaments)

• anterior and posterior tibiotalar
• tibionavicular
• tibiocalcaneal

• stabilize the joint during eversion and prevent talar subluxation
• 20-50% stronger than lateral ligaments

o Individuele ligamenten (MCL, LCL, syndesmotisch) en pezen
o De gewrichten boven en onder de enkel
o Belangrijk : proximale fibula (‘masionneuve fractuur’) en de basis van metatarsaal V
(‘dansersfractuur’)
