, Chapter 1 :
Binky and Thumper's Plan
, Binky sat tucked away in the corner of the garden, her small fuffy body hidden
amongst the tall grass. She eyed the carrots hungrily, her mischievous mind
already concocting a plan to snatch them from the garden. Thumper sat beside
her, his big brown eyes watching her every move. He wanted to help his best
friend but couldn't bring himself to risk getting in trouble. He knew Binky's
heart was in the right place, but sometimes her mischief got the best of her. His
short brown fur bristled as he thought of the consequences of their actions. He
hoped Binky would think twice before making a move, but deep down, he knew
that was unlikely. As they sat there, Binky's ears perked up, and she began to
slowly edge towards the carrot patch. Thumper watched on with bated breath,
hoping Binky didn't get caught. Suddenly, a loud voice shattered the silence.
"What do we have here?" It was Mr. McGregor, the owner of the garden. He
had caught sight of the two rabbits trying to steal his prized carrots. Binky froze
in fear while Thumper scrambled to hide behind a nearby rock. Mr. McGregor
marched over, his large frame casting an imposing shadow over the garden.
Binky could feel her heart racing as he reached down to grab her. But just as Mr.
McGregor's hand closed around her, Binky sprang into action. She wriggled free
and darted towards Thumper, who had already begun to run towards safety.
Together they weaved in and out of rows of vegetables, dodging 3 cages and
piles of gardening tools. Mr. McGregor was hot on their heels, shouting and
brandishing his rake. Suddenly, they found themselves at a dead end. The only
way out was through a narrow gap between two wooden fences. Binky
squeezed through frst, Thumper following close behind. They emerged on the
