4.1 Inleiding
Het is voor micro-organismen niet eenvoudig om de mens ziek te maken. Direct al vanaf het eerste contact
krijgt een micro-organisme te maken met de weerstand (afweersysteem) van de mens. Om het lichaam binnen
te dringen, moeten namelijk eerst beschermende barrrières worden gepasseerd en eenmaal binnen share
in het
weefsel wordt de verdediging vanuit het lichaam zo sterk dat micro-organismen in de regel niet zullen
overleven.
