Communicable diseases in children
Non communicable diseases are also known as chronic diseases. They are not transferable from one person to another or through infection. They are usually a result of genetic, environmental, physiological, and behavioral factors. They result in long-term duration in treatment and care. We will examine the types of non-communicable diseases affecting children, their examples, risk factors, prevention, care, and management.
