HOORCOLLEGE 1 PSYCHIATRISCHE AANDOENINGEN BIJ KINDEREN EN ADOLESCENTEN

Diagnostiek:
- DSM-IV separate stoornissen (bv. Autisme in 5 categorieën; Asperger, PDD-NOS, ect)
- DSM-V continuüm (bv. alleen autistisch spectrum)
Hoeveel last heb je ervan i.p.v. hoeveel kenmerken heb je?

Autisme
Diagnostiek:
- Autistisch spectrum
- Vaak in combinatie met verstandelijke beperking
- Met name een communicatiestoornis met een verminderd inlevend vermogen
- Vormen van autisme bestaan niet meer in DSM-V
- Vrees voor ‘overdiagnostiek’ (Allen Frances)

Behandeling:
- Gedragstherapie leren over emotie, ect

Diagnostiek PDD-NOS (Pervasive development disorder – not otherwise specified):
- Problemen in sociale omgang
- Moeite met contact maken en begrijpen van gesproken taal
- Apart gedrag driftbuien; dingen letterlijk nemen; emoties niet herkennen
- Houterige motoriek

AD(H)D (Attention Deficit (Hyper) Disorder):
- Aandachtstekortstoornis

Diagnostiek:
- Over-bewegelijkheid / concentratieproblemen
- Glijdende schaal
- Gaat soms vanzelf over

Behandeling:
- Medicijnen Ritalin & Dixarit
Ingezet voor: psychotherapie mogelijk maken
Bijwerkingen: slaapproblemen / angstgevoelens / ect
- Gedrags- en cognitieve therapie structuur bieden
- Opvoedkunst

DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder):
Diagnostiek:
- Coordinatiestoornis
- Vaak in combinatie met andere psychiatrische aandoening
- Laat opgemerkt doordat ontwikkelingsmijlpalen verschillend zijn bij kinderen

Behandeling:
- Neuroloog / kinderfysiotherapeut / ergotherapeut (gericht op ADL) / oefentherapie
- Motorische Remedial Teaching
- N.B. sommige kinderen groeien over DCD heen

Verstandelijke beperking:
IQ + Zelfredzaamheid
