critical analysis of media
The media influences how humans view various cultures, sexes, beliefs, and races. It also affects how consumers perceive racial discrimination, ageism, and sexism. The media has greatly changed due to advancements in technology. For instance, the internet had just started becoming popular when I was a teen, and social media started gearing up in my early twenties. I am delighted that I got a chance to gain a perspective of the world before social media became popular. In contemporary times, people have the power to access media daily, especially due to the invention of computers and phones. I have seen many different memes that represent stereotypical opinions concerning different groups. Some of these stereotypes suggest that men are superior to women in intelligence and physique. In contrast, others suggest that individuals from the White race are superior to those from other non-white races. Even though some of them are intended to be jokes, they represent people's views regarding these issues.
