Developers accumulate points by selecting from a list of compliance options such as affordable housing, mitigation of environmental impacts, providing public amenities. Focuses not on land uses but rather specifies the intesity of uses based of effects and impacts. According to AICP, performance zoning 'Focuses on Environmental Impacts'
