The cell body of the neuron has the nucleus and cytoplasm which is the where the axon extends from branches until it reaches the terminal ends. The dendrites receives signals from other neurons, synapses formed by axon ends of other neurons cover the dendrites and are responsible for neuron-neuron communication (Liao et al, 2020).
