Jaguar land rover:




Jaguar land rover is a car manufacturer owned by TATA MOTORS in India. TATA
MOTORS bought Jaguar and Land Rover in 2008 from ford for £2.3bn because they
were losing money and needed to concentrate on their other brands elsewhere, so
they decided to sell up. Tata acquired JLR on June 2008. They manufacture luxury,
sports and 4x4 cars and vehicles. They want to produce cars that are sustainable
and emission free, they call this mission ‘destination zero’. Their CEO is Ralph Speth
who became CEO of JLR in 2010. JLR has over 43,224 employees and have sold
500, 000 cars a year on average every year.

Oxfam is one of the world largest charities that raise money to aid emergencies
across the world where there is famine and poverty. They want to eliminate poverty
across the world. The donations they get the put towards food, clothing and hygiene
for people who cannot afford it. They are always aiming to raise awareness of
women’s rights. Oxfam where founded in oxford in 1942. The name is a combination
of ‘oxford’ & ‘famine’ making the name Oxfam.

JAGUAR LAND ROVER:
The purpose of JLR is to manufacture luxury cars that are emission free and do not
harm the environment, they call this stage “Destination Zero”. JLR want to always
expand and be bigger so that they are recognised by consumers globally. They sell
luxury cars, sports cars,4x4’s. JLR want to be one of the sustainable car
manufacturers worldwide.
Jaguar’s main aims are to keep making mass amount of profit, to satisfy demand, to
create a safer and more sustainable environment in the future, to maintain a high
standard of customer service for their products to make sales and create more jobs
in local or foreign areas of the world to help people’s futures.
JLR’s main headquarters are in ABBEY ROAD, WHITLEY, COVENTRY, CV3 4LF.
They have 5 factories in the UK and 1 in India – Birmingham (2), Solihull (1),
Wolverhampton (1), Warwick (1), Maharashtra (1). They make sales in over 45
different countries.
TATA MOTORS bought Jaguar and Land Rover in 2008 from ford for £2.3bn
because they were losing money and needed to concentrate on their other brands
elsewhere, so they decided to sell up. JLR operates inside the secondary sector as it
involves transforming raw products into finished goods.
JLR have a Limited Liability which means that there is a limit placed on the amount
that can be claimed to protect the risk of a business being sued or being held legally
responsible.
JLR has over 43,224 employees working worldwide. It is a large business because it
operates globally and is one of the uk’s biggest car manufacturer. They sell 500,000
cars a year on average these are due to the customer services provided by the
employees at JLR and those who work on the production line.


OXFAM:
Oxfam’s main purpose is to tackle poverty, they believe that poverty is unjust. They
raise money globally to help provide goods for people in poverty to help them
overcome this state. They operate multiple campaigns to help raise money like their
current charity stores where people donate unwanted clothes or items so that they
can re-sell and use all the profit to fight poverty issues They also post collection bags
for people to put old clothes into which eventually get collected by volunteers who
help out to be part of the fight with poverty.
Oxfam believe that all people should live with a life of fairness, dignity and
opportunity
Oxfam have their own values which are called “Oxfam’s six goals” which consist of
the following:
