(Epocrates Atehna Health 2018) Fluticasone nasal spray 1 spray in each nostril daily, Education- Medication is used to treat seasonal allergies. (Epocrates Atehna Health 2018) Pataday 0.1% instill 1 drop in each eye twice per day Education This eye drip is a histamine and treats allergic conjunctivitis. It is used to treat itching redness. Its patient starts to exhibit signs and symptoms of allergic reaction such as headaches eye irritation blurred vision wheezing call provider immediately, (Epocrates Atehna Health 2018). Any additional testing necessary for this diagnosis- Allergic Conjunctivitis – Testing can be performed, however very costly. It is not a requirement for diagnosis Patient education discussing the importance in managing disease process Patient educated on diagnosis of allergic conjunctivitis, take medications as prescribed and do not scratch eye for possible injury. Do not use the tip of eye drop bottle to touch eye due to contamination Educate patient on ways to avoid triggers, washing hands frequently and not touching eyes and face.
