Health Promotion and Maintenance Health Promotion/Disease Prevention Hypertension: Teaching Preventive Measures ● Clients should maintain a BMI of less than 30. ● Clients should limit caffeine and alcohol intake ● Clients should use stress-management techniques during times of stress. ● Clients should stop smoking. ● Clients should engage in exercise that provides aerobic benefits at least 3 times a week.
