Bandura believes that people learn by watching the behaviour of others -
observational learning.
If children watch adults gaining pleasure from an activity, or being punished
for an activity, they will either repeat or reject those behaviours.
Aggression can be learned from watching others behave in an aggressive
manner.

Behaviour can be learnt from:
Family
Authority figures Vicarious reinforcement- reinforcement that is
Culture symbols(like TV) experienced through watching another person
Peers being rewarded or punished for a behaviour.
People you admire. Models: a model is a person who is observed/
imitated.
Observational learning: this is where viewers
learn behaviour from, watching others by seeing
them rewarded or punished.
