, What is Litigation?
Litigation is a procedure where the parties use to defend their legal right. This
could be settled between the parties or it could be heard in court. If a party begins
a civil lawsuit it is known as a litigation. Before bringing in the lawsuit the claimant
would claim what they would want from the defendant as they were the one who
allegedly caused the damage or injury. If the defendant refuses the claims then the
claimant would bring forward a lawsuit which will them be decided in court using
evidence. The judge or the jury will then decide what the verdict will be and once
that decision is made that will be the end of the litigation.
