Essay world religions (REL2300)

Explore the religious make-up of one (1) country outside of the United States. Start by visiting this interactive resource: PBS Religion Map. Explore what is presented here, including the “Menu” in the upper right to view the individual religions in more detail. Then, select one (1) country outside of the United States to explore in the context of what is outlined in the “Content” section of the “Parameters” below. Using additional research as outlined in the “Research” section on the second page of this document, provide an analysis of the religious make-up of the country, including those aspects that are unique to the country. Your conversation should identify each religion that is said to have a presence in the country of your choosing. For religions with larger followings, provide the divisions that are dominant (such as Catholic, Protestant, or Eastern Orthodox for Christianity, and Sunni and Shi’a for Islam). You should also drill down further into denomination/groups if they have significant numbers (for example, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, etc. if there are certain Protestant Christian groups that are dominant)
