 INTRODUCTION
This assignment focuses on the importance of an event organizer meeting the
criteria of organizational and legal requirements when planning any business
event. Furthermore, arrangements made by an event organizer during the
planning stage of a business event will be analyzed as well.
o Organizational procedures and legal requirements are set out to ensure
that the guests at the events are safe in every way possible. Therefore,
an event organizer should take into consideration each procedure and
requirement before letting an event take place.


Organizational Procedures- organizations usually have set procedures in
which they follow during the planning and organizing of an event. These
procedures usually change according to the type of event being planned as
well as the size of the organization. Organizational procedures and policies
are rules and guidelines created by an organization. It is usually published in a
written form whether manually or electronically available for anyone. These
policies help to make major decisions and activities.
Terms and Conditions set by organizations are important to be followed. Some
of these terms included, might be the food service, meaning a specific type of
food should be served to ensure that customers do not experience any food
allergies or food poisoning or a specific brand of food or a food company is to
be used. For example; KFC should be provided rather than McDonalds to
promote them because they have sponsored the event or vegetarian food
should be served only. Also alcohol may not be sold in the event because of
the type of guests attending, for example; under 18 guests or persons who
suffered from an addiction.
Another term and condition is after hour event. This is when an event runs
over the scheduled time than anticipated. This may also come into play if an
