Migrants and Refugees | Debate Stakeholder Position Paper
Migrants and Refugees Debate Stakeholder Position Paper “Migrants and societies would not benefit from open borders.” Our research led us to the conclusion that open borders would be absolutely detrimental to the wellbeing of both migrants and the societies to which they move. This is due to four primary reasons: an increase in crime, a lack of resources (both social welfare and physical), and the resulting instability of the economy. All of our arguments stem from international Conflict Theory and the pragmatic effects of open borders.
