Dimensions of Nursing Practice;Global Healthcare and Nursing I chose this contemporary topic specifically because it is very important for every nurse, no matter where in the world they live, to realize that care differs globally. I’d like to think that everybody has equal access to care, but that is nowhere near the case. It is also important to learn about healthcare in other countries because, as a nurse, we must be up to date on global nursing issues. To do this, I will compare nursing practices in the United States, with nursing practices in China. I chose China because it is large, powerful country, like the U.S. But, it also has very different nursing practices in some aspects than we do.
