KRISTIN NICOLE CHETTY

, Question 1

1.1. As a teacher, I can help Tim succeed by providing chances for him to
learn and feel that, given the chance, he is just as able as any other
group of individuals. As a teacher, I may motivate Tim to compete with
his own former levels of accomplishment rather than with his classmates
by modelling acceptable ways of self-criticism and self-reward. I can also
provide Tim the flexibility to share opinions that vary from those offered
throughout the lecture, as long as they are backed up by logic. Positive
comments like "really good" or "That's a good answer!" can also be used
to acknowledge proper and acceptable responses. As a teacher, I can
respect and appreciate Tim for his efforts as well as his achievements,
and I can set clear grading criteria. As a teacher, I may also treat Tim
fairly, encourage him, and provide him with opportunity to participate in
activities. I should also call Tim by his first name, take an interest in his
issues, and let him know that he is a valuable person. I may also praise
good conduct and design appropriate assessments, assignments, and
exams for Tim and the class; so that he has a decent chance of
succeeding if he studies properly. I should also keep a high level
throughout because it helps me to have a positive self-image. As a
teacher I can also allow him to participate in nature-related lessons, I
can boost his self-esteem. During such classes, I can build on his talents,
recognize his efforts, and appreciate who he is to keep him engaged in
the classroom. On the same point, I can skip in-class learning and instead
involve Tim in outdoor class activities to keep him focused while
introducing new concepts.

1.2. I can inspire Tim as a teacher by including him in learning activities and
providing rapid and frequent feedback on his performance. I may also
encourage him to make his own decisions and create goals for himself,
as well as assist him in breaking down long-term goals into short-term
objectives, as mastery of each short-term objective feeds motivation for
the next. I can also effectively employ compliments and group work. At
times, I can give Tim my full focus and acknowledge him, and I can utilize
competition to my advantage. I should employ technology and a range
of innovative presentation options. As a teacher, I have the ability to
encourage Tim and provide him with suitable praise and criticism. I
should provide Tim and his classmates’ lessons that will test their
cognitive abilities. I need to be goal-oriented and explain my short- and
long-term objectives clearly. As a teacher, I must deliver well-prepared,
