Extractie: verschil in oplosbaarheid

LLE: vloeistof-vloeistof extractie

Basisbegrippen:

• Atoombinding / covalente binding

• Apolaire atoombinding

• Polaire atoombinding

• Vanderwaalskrachten

• Waterstofbruggen




Intermoleculaire krachten

• Waterstofbruggen; redelijk sterk (tot 10 kcal/mol)

• Vanderwaalskrachten / London dispersie krachten; zwak (0.5-2.5 kcal/mol); altijd aanwezig;
afhankelijk van molecuulmassa / ketenlengte en oppervlak / ruimtelijke structuur

• Dipool–dipool interactie; zwak (1 kcal/mol)
