The classroom set-up is well organized, effective for teaching and learning.
The furniture is well placed; teaching and learning materials are placed in order.
The desks are in straight rows, teacher’s desk, table in front; there is space for the teacher to walk
through the passage and each desk has a name of the learner
Learners seat in pair two learners per desk.
There is green board in front visible for learners to see and a storage facility.
There is a notice board and a place to put posters.
18. Is the classroom conducive to learning (classroom atmosphere, environment of the
classroom, mood)?
The classroom atmosphere is inclusive and trusting so learners feel their views is head
and valued. (Learners are allowed to raise their opinions and ask questions).


19 How is the discipline managed in the classroom (learner's behavior, teacher's
and learner's language, choice of words in questions and responses)?
The teachers maintained good discipline in the classroom, learners are only allowed the
leave the class if permission is granted, raise their hand if they want to ask or answer a
question. Learners are allowed to discuss only subject related matters in class, extra work
is given to learners who misbehave in class.



20 Are there any contextual factors, which interrupt the lessons (internal and external
influences)?
Yes, external factor that affect the school is high crime rate in the community, and drug
consumption in the community. Sometimes learners do not feel safe at school, other learners
come under the influence of drugs and disturb teaching and learning.

21 Time management (start and finish of periods, bells, after break periods)
Time is well managed, there is a school representative (elected from the learners) who is
responsible for ringing the bell at the beginning and at the end of the lesson. The break is 45
minute the alarm rings at the start and the end of the break.

22 What are the relationships between learners themselves and between the teacher
and learners (humor, calling of names, favoritism, and tasks/roles distribution)?
There is a good relationship between teachers and learners and learners themselves,
learners are not allowed to discriminative each other in terms of race and gender,
Teachers are encourage to threat learners equally regardless of gender. The tasks are
given equally to all learners. There is no favoritism at school (task are given equally and
everyone is encourage to participate and do their part of the share).
