The environmental problem you will identify and analyse, can be any problem that is relevant to the area in which you live. Below are some examples for you that you can use. You are free to include one that is not in the list below. Illegal dumping Water pollution Air pollution Habitat loss Infrastructure Inner city issues Soil erosion Biodiversity loss Water access Flooding Drought Natural hazards TASK: You will visually analyse and present the issue across a single-page A3 poster divided into four different parts. Please use the layout provided with the assignment instructions on the GGH2604 myModules site. The outline and format of the poster is described below. You must use the attached PowerPoint document in the assignment to create the poster. You will then save the poster as a PDF and upload it to Assignment 02. A separate video will be shared to help you with this process. 2. Poster Layout and Section Instructions Unless expressly indicated, you are not allowed to use AI. The poster must have the following layout and look something like this: Part 1: Geographic Context and Identity Verification (100 – 200 words) • Visual Element: You must insert a clear selfie of yourself at the site, with the environmental problem clearly visible in the background. This serves as your primary verification of authenticity. This may not be AI generated. • Text Element: Explicitly state the exact geographic location i.e. suburb, town/city, and/or municipal ward. Provide a brief description identifying the core environmental issues affecting this area. You may use internet resources to locate the data.
