WGU C773 TASK 1: WEBSITE EVALUATION FOR PARADIGM PET
PROFESSIONALS|ACCURATE AND VERIFIED | 2026 UPDATE

Task 1: Website Evaluation for Paradigm Pet Professionals
C773 - User Interface Design

A. Comparison of Content, Functionality, and Navigation

1. Content Failures

a. Audience: The current website does not present a clear and well organized
landing page that the audience will expect. It falls short in addressing specific
needs of cat and dog owners. Specifically, for cat owners, it lacks detailed guides
on feeding cats of different types and different diets, and instead only includes
age based instructions. For dogs, it fails to provide information on the changing
activity needs for puppies as they grow into adult dogs. It also doesn’t promote
any quality dog toys that can be used to exercise them.

b. Stakeholders: The current website does not effectively communicate the purpose
and the mission of the stakeholders. There needs to be consistent branding
across each page, but currently the logo only appears once. Additionally, the
values of the company aren’t clearly stated, failing to convey their mission.
Stakeholders want to encourage users to reach out and schedule appointments
and consultations, but the website doesn’t have any instructions on how to get in
touch. Lastly, the website is missing key terms and phrases that affect SEO such
as “new pet consultation” and “new pet care consultation”, which hinders the
stakeholders ability to get the website promoted on search engine results.

but the layout is poorly constructed. The most significant functionality failure is
the non-functional search bar, which disrupts the audience's ability to easily
access information they are looking for. The broken search bar fails to meet the
audience's need for a functional experience. In addition, the menu bar
incorrectly highlights the page that the audience is viewing, making the
experience more confusing.

b. Stakeholders: The non-functional search bar damages the websites reputation

, and trustworthiness, coming off as amateur and unprofessional. The
