INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILIT |ACCURATE AND VERIFIED |
2026 UPDATE
Task 1: Project Proposals with Strategies
Name
C773 User Interface Design
A1:
The current state of the website’s content doesn’t provide a proper home page with an
overview of what the company does to its audience. The site is limited to a specific group of
people as it lacks information regarding to animals outside of dogs and cats. Lastly, if the
audience would like to have additional information to be added, or make requests, the site fails to
provide a contact page for them.
A2:
The accessibility of the site is lacking as it isn’t functional on devices with various sizes,
such as mobile devices. Secondly, the highlighted tabs are incorrect and can confuse users. An
example would be, a user clicks on the “Dogs” tab, but “Cats” would be highlighted blue.
Additionally, if a user clicks on “FAQs” page, and then wants to return to the “Home”, they are
unable to. Then lastly, the functionality of the search bar is nonexistent.
A3:
The website’s navigation system doesn’t meet the stakeholders needs because it doesn’t
provide additional information for site visitors. The audience needs aren’t met when the said
navigation system cannot engage them in the proper page, and it ends up confusing the members
because their page highlighted will differ with what content is actually presented to them.
B1:
The website must be available and fully functional in all device types, such as desktops,
laptops, mobile devices, tablets, etc. All tabs will also need to be fully functional across these
devises and linked to their correct pages, alongside of a search bar being functional and taking
the audience to the correct page. For the stakeholders’ needs, the website will need the proper
Search engine Optimization (SEO) for it to be able to be searched on search engines results when
, pet owners are looking for “pet consultations” or “pet care consultation” online.
B2:
Three new pages will be added called Fish, Bird, and Small-Animals. Each page will
address the corresponding animal owners’ needs and ensure proper wellbeing information is
