This 8-week active learning course develops an understanding of community health nursing. Students will explore the roles of registered
nurses, covering topics such as public health nursing, health promotion, healthcare equity, advocacy, disaster preparedness, vulnerable
populations, community health settings, and disease prevention. Each week presents new concepts, fostering a deeper understanding of the
connections between nursing practice and community health outcomes.
