The book explained how Elon Mask
achieved his greatness at his age. While
growing up, he has been wanting to attend
a school in the United States of America
and fortunately, he got an opportunity to
move in Silicon Valley and attended
college. He started to build x.com, which is
now know as PayPal. His innovative
thinking come up with the need in allowing
people to purchase any items through
online without using physical cards.
Because of this, Elon Musk made millions

from PayPal sale. This profit gave him a
break to start SpaceX and Tesla.
Elon Musk had a goal in impacting the
world on how people travel. He developed
the trend of electric cars (Tesla). A lot of
people criticized the idea and thought this
is a joke even after he released the
Roadster. On the other side, investors are
amazed on the possibilities of using an
electric car daily. With the persistence in
making the electric car affordable, he
released the Model S after the Roadster
which hit 80 thousand dollars as the price
point. To make sure that he is producing
cars that are cost-less without risking the
quality, Model 3 was released. This time,
Musk realized that SpaceX (Musk’s other

company) is needed to be acquired. The
goal is to acquire the technology
advancement for the Model 3 electric cars
(Easto, 2017).
Tesla acquiring SpaceX created an
opportunity for the electric cars to use the
battery technology that have been
developed in SpaceX. The dream of
sending humans to Mars and live made
Musk believed that if the world will not
attempt to colonize the other planet, Earth
will fall to a world-event like what the
dinosaurs experienced. He said that he
wanted to learn how a large fortune turns
into small fortune.

The book stated that IoT impacted multiple
industries, especially on how technology
automates such tasks and processes. The
world is seeing IoT’s growth in terms of
popularity, needs, advantages and how it
replaced jobs for some individuals due to
automation. It’s obvious that IoT made
people lives easier.
For example, specifically with automation
advantages, I worked with SaaS company
for five years and a lot of manual tasks are
being done to generate reports and to
manually send to the clients. Because of
system that was built that can be accessed
