A. Curriculum
1. Curriculum Description
• Title: iReady Classroom Mathematics Grade K
• Creator: Curriculum Associates, LLC
• Content Area: Math (Position, length, height, sorting, numbers to 5, shapes,
weight, addition and subtraction within 5 and shapes, numbers to 100, addition
and subtraction within 10, and teen numbers and shapes.
• Grade: Kindergarten
• Goals/objectives: iReady Classroom Mathematics has many goals/objectives
throughout each unit. Their units align with the common core standards (CCS). “
Iready Classroom Mathematics is a core mathematics program designed to help
all children be successful with rigorous, grade-level content by using flexible,
equitable, and accessible instruction” (Curriculum Associates, LLC, 2024).
2. CIPP Evaluation Model
Context:
A. IReady Mathematics was adopted by my school district this school year. I am new
to teaching kindergarten, as I taught first grade last school year. I have also taught
3rd and 4th grade. This year, being my first year using iReady Mathematics and
Kindergarten, I would say an issue I would address is the order in which skills are
taught. The introduction to teen numbers does not happen until after spring break,
but students are expected to start adding and subtracting these numbers without
