Jamie is a 4-year-old African American male. He currently resides with his paternal aunt
and cousins. Jamie was born into a two-parent household. However, Jamie's parents could not
provide stable housing or meals for them. Often causing him to go hungry and live out of hotels
before he was removed from his mother's care. His father was also a felon who had a noticeably short
temper and would lash out on his wife and children. Jamie has not lived in stable housing since he
was six months old. His parents did not have stable jobs, and the father would often yell and belittle
Jamie and his mother. There has not been any mental health testing or diagnosis within the family.
However, Jamie's dad was a convicted felon and drug addict. It was also discovered he was taking
Abilify but did not have a diagnosis of any mental health disorders.
