…Discovery Lab 16: Brain Power
Due Nov 24 at 7pm Points 10 Questions 6 Time Limit None
Allowed Attempts Unlimited
Instructions
How much power does your brain consume?
All numbers must be entered as decimal numbers. Examples include 5000 or 5e3 or
5.0e3. Do not enter numbers with commas as in "5,000" and not as fractions as in “3/4”,
and not in percentages as in “25%”. That Canvas may reformat your number with
commas is not important and not relevant.
Always use nice round numbers for estimates. One significant digit is often enough.
Make the numbers easy to multiple and divide in your head. Three significant digits is
way too many.
You know a lot from everyday life - learn to use it and trust it.
Be sure to use our useful numbers and handy formulas sheet, and our spiral energy
diagram. These are in our “Let’s Get Started! “ section of the course.
