Accenture is a multinational company operating as a professional services and

the consulting division founded under Arthur Andersen. In 2001, it adopted the Accenture
name and became an independent global company, with its headquarters in Dublin and
major Philippine operations headquartered in Makati. The company operates in the
information technology, consulting, and business process management industry, offering

business process outsourcing. Accenture primarily serves large enterprises, government
institutions, and multinational corporations across industries including banking,
telecommunications, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. It is recognized as one of the
leading information technology and business process management companies in the
Philippines due to its global network, expertise, and large-scale operations.

SITUATION ANALYSIS

Porter’s Five Forces Analysis

1. Supplier Power – Moderate
• Accenture relies on skilled professionals such as consultants, developers, and
analysts, as well as technology providers like Microsoft, Oracle, and Amazon
Web Services.
• Skilled talent has bargaining power due to high global demand for technology
expertise.
• However, supplier power is reduced because the company can source talent
globally and maintain multiple vendor partnerships.

2. Buyer Power – High
• Buyers include large enterprises, government institutions, and multinational
corporations that purchase consulting and information technology services.
• Clients can switch to competitors such as Deloitte, IBM, or Capgemini if pricing
or service quality is not satisfactory.
• Buyers have a strong influence because many firms offer similar services,
increasing competition on pricing and quality.

3. Competitive Rivalry – High
