1. Executive Summary
1.1 Business summary: What is this business about?
Our business provides customers with a unique cinema viewing experience by offering an outdoor cinema in
unique locations such as by the beach or by castles. Traditional cinemas are slowing becoming less and less
popular each year with the rise of streaming services such as Netflix and Disney+. To combat this, cinemas will
have to provide customers with a better experience rather than just snacks and the film. Our business provides the
customer with an added experience by viewing films in unique locations, being able to chat (unlike traditional
cinemas) and different foods and drinks by allowing third parties to offer their products to our customers.
1.2 Business aims:
Our aims and objectives off the pop-up cinema is that we will want to be trying to expand, this
will be done by selling out screenings, we will do this by encouraging people to come watch us,
we will try achieve this by gaining a good reputation with our prices and service we provide,
once we gain enough profits we will then be reinvesting into the business by buying more
equipment to make the experience higher quality. With our reputation then growing we will
hopefully grab a good sponsor that will help us break even before we have even sold out of the
tickets.

provides you with the all in one unique and modern way of the cinema viewing experience. We aim to provide a
new and exciting experience to customers so they aren’t constantly going into the same cinema to have the same
experience but with a different film. What is this experience you’re asking? We offer a unique and memorable
cinema experience that allows you to view films at special locations such as the beach or castles while also being
able to chat to friends while eating or drinking amazing products from other businesses. If this idea takes off and we
can offer very low-ticket prices this will revolutionise the way films are viewed and provide an experience that is so
much better than a traditional cinema can offer.

2 Owner’s background
2.1 Why do you want to run your own business?
The main reason that I want to run my own business is for the freedom it would allow me have if the business is a
success. For example, if I hire enough people to run the business by themselves then all I would have to do is
check over the business every now and then if I was going to be very hands off.
Another reason I would like to run my own business is that if the business is successful then I would be able to give
back to the community by donating money to charities or have free screenings for the community.
I also like the idea of creating something from scratch and building a business that people recognise and have
good thoughts towards.
