Communication 6/10 In college for some assignments
we have to work in groups which
requires us to talk to each other
about who is going to do what
tasks, this means that we have to
delegate the work evenly. We
would also have to help each
other on any tasks we get stuck on
to make sure we meet the criteria
for all the tasks. I feel that I
communicate well in a team and
makes goals and objectives clear if
I am leading the team.
We also have to give
presentations to the class which I
think I can communicate and
explain our ideas somewhat
effectively.
To improve my score, I think I
would need to give more
presentations to build confidence
and be able to communicate more
effectively.
Customer service 8/10 I currently work in a restaurant so
making sure the customers have a
great experience is critical. I make
sure that I answer any questions
or queries they have and need
answering. I have been working
for nearly a year so I think I have a
clear understanding of how to
deal with customers problems and
how to make sure they are happy
and feel like they would come
back again once they leave.
To get a 10/10 I think I would need
to get customer service
experience in other environments
such as online or in retail.
Time management 7/10 At college we are kept to
deadlines to submit our work. This
means that when we have two or
more assignments ongoing at the
same time we will have to decide
when to do each assignment and
, manage it so that there is time left
at the end to check over and edit
the assignments to make sure that
they make sense.
I have helped set up and run a
sports event which required me to
manage and judge how long
specific races would last to keep
on schedule for the event to finish
on time.
To improve my time management
skills I would try to start projects
early so that if any unforeseen
circumstances come up then I
would be able to take a few hours
or a day off so that I can cater to
it.
IT Skills 8/10 In high school I took an ICT course
and a computer science course.
This allowed me to gain the skills
necessary to work around
different types of software’s and
taking computer science has
allowed me to be able to create
basic programs to help run the
business.
I have learnt photoshop and can
produce good photos for
promotions and advertisements.
I am good on the software side of
IT but I would need to learn how
to set up the hardware and fix
problems if they arise. This would
be useful to help set up the
cinema equipment for our
business.

allowed me to develop my
leadership skills as I had to lead
tasks to show team members
how to complete tasks and show
them how to improve.
I also help manage a team of staff
members at work so if they have
