Shahada; declaration of faith
Shahadah
The Shahada is the declaration of faith, when entering the faith of Islam and at other points, usually
three times a day. It is a ritual that takes place once in a Muslims life, and is one of the five pillars of
Sunni Islam, however it is contained in both faiths.

 It is an aim for the Shahada to be one of the last things a Muslim says before they die, as
they will enter Heaven (Jannah) in a pure state, having just declared their loyalty as a
Muslim.
